Walgreens Balance Reward Program

Walgreens is starting a new rewards program.  It is called Walgreens Balance Rewards.  Don't worry the Register Rewards are not going away.  

With the new rewards program, you will accumulate points with in-store and on-line purchased.  Walgreens Balance Rewards will not go into effect until Sept. 16, 2012; however, you can pre-enroll.  When you pre-enroll, you will have a chance at winning 1,000,000 points.  :)

With the Walgreens Balance Reward you will earn points on sale items each week (cookies - 100 pts., toothpaste - 250 pts.)  You will earn points on thousands of items, including prescriptions (500 points) and immunizations.  Then you will redeem your points for items you love.  For example 5,000 point will get you $5 Walgreens gift card or 40,000 for a $50 Walgreens gift card.
