Groupon: $17 for Wine & Palatte Painting Class

Yeah!!!  It's BACK!!!!

Today's Groupon daily deal is $17 (reg. $35) for a painting class by Wine & Palatte.  This Groupon will expire on May 31, 2013.  You may purchase up to 5 per person.

The paintings change very month, but you can get an idea kind of paintings Wine & Palatte offer by looking at their website.

$17 for Social Painting Class (Up to $35 Value)

During each approximately three-hour session, one of Wine and Palette's resident artists leads up to 40 students through the steps and techniques of creating a rendering of that evening's painting, such as a portrait of palm trees or balloons and blackbirds. Classes take place at different eateries and wineries throughout the city, where participants enjoy various drink specials. Paints, brushes, an apron, and a canvas are included. Check the class calendar for locations and times.

Wine and Palette

Determined to keep their students interested and engaged, the instructors of Wine and Palette hold classes at myriad locations throughout the city. Each class focuses on a different art piece, be it a painting of a stained-glass window, a multihued owl, or an autumn farm scene. Additionally, each artist brings their own outlook and skills to the class, helping students learn specific brush strokes and how to touch up their daily driver so it looks just like the sheriff’s squad car.

I've done one class like this before, but not with Wine & Palatte.  I actually going to do this tonight!  I can't wait!  

Also, on a side note, you do not have to drink to do this class.  :)
