Things May Be A Changing....

I like to write my blog posts clean and easy.  Not a lot of hoopla, just the information you need to save you the money or get you the deal.  I really am a rip the Band-aid off, cold turkey kind of person.  However, since I have had this blog for a little over 6 months and my Facebook page for almost a year and a half, I figure I can't just pull the plug without a little notice.

I have been considering stopping this blog and my Facebook page.  It really is a lot of work and there are a ton of other coupon bloggers out there who do fantastic jobs at the very same thing.  I am a small time coupon blogger and I rather enjoy it that way.  I like to see the same people "like" and comment on my Facebook page.  It makes it seem like a small community of people who have the same goal.

I have been praying about it.  I am not sure if I need to stop altogether or just find a more balanced way of doing things.  I really enjoy saving money and helping other do it too.  This blog also enables me bring a small amount (very small) income to our one-income family.  Saving money by taking advantage of deals/sales and coupons helps me make the most of the money God has blessed us with.   However, there is a sacrifice that comes with doing a coupon blog.  It is a huge time commitment.  One that is easier for me at times because I am a stay-at-home mom, but it takes a toll.

Sorry, I'm starting to ramble more than I intended.  I just wanted to give you a peek at what is going on in my brain.  I am going to take an entire week off next week and spend some quality time with my family.  I will be seriously considering about what I should do with this blog and my Facebook page.  I will let you know as soon as I have decided! :)

  1. Just wanted to let you know that while your page is one of my homepages that is checked first thing every morning I do understand your thoughts. Blogging of any kind is a huge committment and one that does take time away from your family. The key is deciding what is worth that time. If you decide to stop, know that I will miss you and all your good deals. You are a value (either way) and I just wanted to let you know that.
